Marina Theofilou holds a BA Dance from The University of Northampton, UK and an MA in Choreography from Trinity-Laban in London. She has danced and collaborated with many contemporary dance companies and artists both in Cyprus and in London. As an independent choreographer and performer she took part at the 4th Mediterranean Folklore Dance Festival, organized by the Cultural Heritage Association of Nicosia and also at Playgrounds Performance Festival in Northampton, at which she then went on to become the Deputy Stage and Performing Manager. She also performed at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and at the Bonnie Bird Theatre of Trinity Laban in London.
During the last six years, Marina has built a strong teaching experience which includes teaching dance classes, delivering workshops and master classes for various organizations and centers for all ages and at all levels. While living in London she was an UK Arts Award Adviser and Assessor, an Assistant Tutor for MA Choreography students at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, an Assistant teacher at the Department of Dance education and Community of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire, a Dance Instructor at several Primary and Secondary London Schools, a Dance instructor at Freshly Squeezed Dance Company, a Dance and Drama Teacher at Mission Grove center, a Dance Theatre Teacher at Treasure Me Kids organization, a Dance Teacher & Dance Fitness Instructor at Dream Sports (Fitness & Dance) Ltd, a Dance Fitness Instructor at Energy Fitness for Women, a Zumba Fitness Instructor at Bromley-By-Bow center, a Dance Instructor at Boutique Beauty, Pilates & Dance and an assistant dance teacher at Gayna Brown School of Dance and Drama.
Annita Moyseos holds a Bachelor of Dance and Professional Practice. She has graduated University of Bedfordshire in 2014. Her studies were focused on Contemporary dance, choreographing and performing as well as improvising and research. Annita has performed in professional performances before and during her studies such as the Junior Research Institute where she had also choreographed. She also has a background in ballet and modern dance from her younger years, to university and after. Annita is also a qualified pilates trainer.
Eleni Gavrielidou graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), Leeds, UK with a BPA (Hons) First class Degree and has been nominated with a Teaching Award. She is currently undertaking her MA degree in Dance Education at Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), London, UK. During her studies in NSCD, she was delivering ballet and contemporary classes to younger year groups. That period she also delivered classes to Leeds City College. Moreover, most of her choreography work happened in the UK. From the age of four until now, Eleni was competing and performing nationally, internationally and in television as a rhythmic gymnast and dancer in various dance styles including; jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary and neo-classical. She has got more than four years of dance teaching experience and that includes students from age 2 to 70. The completion of the Pilates Instructor Diploma attributed by FYC, UK compliments her teaching experience and body knowledge that is essential for a dance teacher.
Sophia Tsadaris was born in England, but grew up and studied Dance in Athens, Greece. She graduated from Niki Kontaxaki’s Professional Dance School in Athens in 2001, and has been teaching in ballet schools in Athens and Crete for the past 13 years. She has also been a Registered Teacher with the R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance), for 9 years, and eligible to teach and enter students for their R.A.D Graded and Vocational examinations. She has participated as a dancer in N.Kontaxaki’s professional company, dancing in ballets such as “Coppelia”, “Don Quixote”, “Esmeralda”, and “La Sylphide”. She also took part in the Greek National Opera’s production of “Giselle” in 2001 and 2002, and in a Greek/American production of “The Best of Broadway” in Thessaloniki. Sophia has worked extensively with children ages of 2-18 years. She has taught “Mommy and Me” classes, Ballet classes for Adults, Barre a Terre, and has choreographed for End-of-Year performances, in addition to entering students for their examinations each year. She has attended various classical and contemporary dance seminars with well-known teachers/choreographers such as Alain Astie, Giannis Metsis, Aliki Kazouri, etc, and also attended courses which are offered by the Royal Academy of Dance as part of her annual CPD. In July 2016 she entered candidates in the annual I.D.C.H. (International Dance Competition Hellas), in Athens. Both candidates finished 4 in their respective categories. Sophia now lives in Cyprus and is a Kinderdance teacher.
Our instructors graduated from the Kinderdance comprehensive training course and are certified in all programs they teach. They specialize in teaching dance, motor skills, gymnastics and creative movement to young children.
